" St. Teresa's School ", Berhampore is a Christian school established in 2015 and administered by the Berhampore Teresian Carmelite Education Society of West Bengal in the Roman Catholic Church. The School is under the religious jurisdiction of the Romal Catholic Bishop of Krishnagar. The Teresian Carmelite sisters work in India and abroad through educational centers, arphanages and other charitable and promotional works. The Teresians Carmelite sisters were welcomed by the Diocese of Krishnagar and Fr. Scaria SDB in view of starting a school, hostel in this locality and to collaborate with the saletian Fathers in the jail ministry. The offer was gladly accepted by the then provincial Rev. Mother Daphne CTC as it was an opportunity to further the vision of Our Founder, the servant of God Mother Eliswa to transform the society through education and other works of charity.
